Poems Written in the Pleasure Garden

*

*

No soul walks

This summer path – except

Whom I imagine.

*

*

Last evening

Rain was allowed, but today

The clouds’ purse is shut.

*

*

O’er a jagged path

The master-following dog

Pants but is happy.

*

*

Somebody left it

Among camellias –

Rusted helmet.

*

*

Pale all our lives,

The drowned princess –

Moon under a pool.
